One of my favorite scenes from tonight.

Seriously that made me cry, since i just got done watching the episode in season one when he and Nathan go away and play golf then Nathan goes back home and tells Deb and she asked what happend and Nathan says “We were keeping score what do you think” or something like that…
Nathan: ...Now that Dan is dying all I can think about is how much time I've wasted just hating him.
Haley: You had a good reason, you were trying to protect your family.
Nathan: Why do I feel so bad?
Haley: Because you are a good man. You're one of the best I know, Nathan Scott.
Nathan: I don't feel like a good man.
Haley: One of the good things about my mom finding out that she only had a little time left was that we got to say goodbye to each other. It really helped to have that closure. Maybe that's what you need.

Didn't even realize the irony...
[[MORE]]Dan’s survived so many things; everything with Nanny Carrie, getting hit by a car, the dog eating his ‘new heart’…but ironically his life was taken by agun. I don’t know if the writers planned that out specifically, but just a little thing I picked up on. He took Keith’s life with a gun, and his life was ultimately taken by a gun.

[[MORE]]Okay, so first off let me say I’ve always loved Dan; even when he was an asshole. It took me a while to forgive him for Keith’s death, and I honestly think that him dying was theonly way they could’ve concluded Dan’s story. Just hear me out. Ever since killing Keith and coming to terms with the fact that he actuallydid kill Keith, Dan has been seeking redemption....
I knew that was coming.
